Event data
EventPeeker no longer accepts log-file uploads or provides hosted log analysis. The XML decoder processes pasted events in your browser. It does not send the XML or decoded field values to an analysis server or AI provider, and does not save them to browser storage. Clear the decoder or close the page to remove the displayed event.
Site analytics
The site integrates Vercel Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights and, when configured, PostHog. These services measure visits, performance and interactions. PostHog is configured for visitor profiles and may use browser storage or cookies and session recording. We do not require an account.
The decoder and its output are marked to exclude them from PostHog session recording. Explicit decoder analytics record the numeric Event ID, where decoding was started, and whether it succeeded; they do not include your event field values. Pageview analytics can include the page URL and query string, so do not put sensitive information in URLs.
Hosting and contact
Hosting and analytics providers may process technical information such as IP addresses and request metadata. Retention depends on the provider and service configuration. Do not email log files or sensitive event data when reporting an issue; describe the issue or use a sanitized example.
